Somalia, officially the Federal Republic of Somalia, is a country located on the Horn of Africa. Its capital is Mogadishu.

The Expendables[]
The Expendables were deployed to combat an armed team of pirates who had recently hijacked a sea vessel in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Somalia for ransom. They successfully eliminated the pirates and rescued the hostages before returning to the United States.
The Expendables 3[]
The Expendables once again returned to Somalia, this time to take out militants at a shipping port in Mogadishu. They eliminated most of the militants but discovered a new foe in the process of their mission, Conrad Stonebanks, an illegal arms dealer who happened to be a co-founder of the Expendables.
