Eric Roberts is an Oscar-nominated American actor who has made almost 250 film and television appearances. In The Expendables, he plays an ex-CIA officer and one of the primary antagonists, James Munroe.
At around the time the first movie came out, he joked that his sister Julia's chick-flick Eat Pray Love would be defeated at the box office by his movie and he predicted right. He has often co-starred, been compared to and is great pals with Mickey Rourke. He also became pals with Steve Austin after making Expendables.
